Head of Quality - Pharmaceuticals - Hertfordshire 

Our client – a diverse health and pharmaceutical based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Head of Quality to support their growing business.

With new products in the pipeline and a busy manufacturing space, this organisation is looking for an experienced individual to join their Senior Management team reporting to the business Leaders.


The Head of Quality will be responsible for:
  • Primary QA Contact for Quality Operations.
  • Ensure timely and effective disposition of products in line with business requirements and targets.
  • Responsible for the Quality Operations and Batch Release teams, Ensuring KPI's are clearly defined and managed.
  • Maintain capability and capacity of QA Operations team to ensure support to all operational areas, including deviation and CAPA management, GMP Practices.
  • Responsible for maintenance and continuous improvements of the Quality Systems on site ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Science Based degree e.g BSc of MSc
  • Substantial quality assurance experience 7+ years and knowledge of GMP Operations and Quality Systems required for a sterile ,manufacturing facility applying an understanding of the principles of manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of the principles and guidelines for GMP as set out in the orange guide, EudraLex Volume 4, U.S 21CFR Part 210/211 and other relevant regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decision's regarding evaluation of GMP Compliance, and leadership abelite's in the managements of QA oversight
