Quanta are pleased to be supporting a global leading client within the vastly growing Energy from Waste sector, with various other turnkey projects in the pipeline both UK and overseas.

They are looking for a HSE Advisor to join them on a long term contract, to oversee the sites waste management and storage to ensure that it is stored & transported correctly in adherence with Health & Safety Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure deliveries to site are organised safely
  • Support the site management team for issues relating to Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Follow the Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems to ensures compliance with statutory requirements
  • Organise and conduct HSE inductions and Tools Box Talks
  • Checking and approving Contractor RAMS
  • Check and approve Contractor’s Training Certificates
  • Communicate with the contractor’s site management team
  • Ensure site welfare facilities are available and maintained as well as site security
  • Report any discrepancies, or defects to Health, Safety and Environmental Standards to the appropriate competent individual
 

Requirements
  • NEBOSH or similar certification
  • Experience working within Waste Management/Storage or similar
