Information Systems Applications Lead

Permanent position – Based 45 minutes from Dublin, Ireland

With heavy investment year on year, this company are expanding at a rapid pace. They are becoming a household name within the Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharmaceutical sectors. With manufacturing sites around the world, they regularly win awards to confirm their status as a market leader.

Currently they are looking for an Information Systems Applications Lead to join their ever-growing team based 45 minutes from Dublin, Ireland.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Information Systems Applications Lead role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • You will be leading a team of 8 within the Automation team to input the DeltaV systems into the company
  • Responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Applications and Laboratory IT support teams
  • You will develop the Information Systems strategies, plan, and execution of system roadmaps
  • You will be an active member of the company’s management team and will contribute to the overall IS strategy and deliverables
Desirable Experience:
  • Minimum 5 Years relevant computer science experience within a biologics manufacturing environment
  • Demonstratable leadership experience in relation to team development, and implementation of organisation strategies
  • Extensive Experience with GMP Laboratory IT Systems such as:
    • Empower CDS
    • LMES
    • Sample Manager LIMS
    • Strong capabilities in dealing with large portfolio systems
    • Strong knowledge and use of databases, reporting and analytic systems
  • Extensive experience with GMP IS application systems such as:
    • TrackWise
    • Maximo
    • Document Management Systems
    • OSI Pi historian
