Instrumentation Lead – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – Denmark

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Instrumentation Lead to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.

Instrumentation Lead Responsibilities: 
  • Lead instrumentation activities from detailed design and installation phase onwards.
  • Design review and installation – process and utility instrumentation.
  • Meet agreed objectives regarding budget, schedule, and functionality according to URS, GMP, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Lead/coordinate project instrumentation including contractors/vendors in instrument/hardware specification, loop design, installation/construction, and C&Q of the instrumentation.
  • Work in close partnership with the Management Team in Mechanical, Instrumentation & Validation.
  • Support the competence development of the department to reflect market and technology development.
About you: 
  • 5+ years of experience in people management or working as a senior engineer e.g., as team leader, line manager or project manager.
  • Proven experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Degree in engineering within instrumentation, chemistry-/production engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP and GEP).
  • Have strong inter-personal skills and the ability to bring people together around a common purpose.
