IT Security Manager

IT Security Manager contract role starting ASAP and running until end of November 2020, located at the Wiltshire office of an international client. Single stage interviews are taking place in the next two weeks.

As IT Security Manager you will:

• Develop, implement and manage Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) policies
• Define processes for the application of the security hardening policies
• Recommend how to optimise security monitoring tools based on threat and vulnerability discoveries
• Ensure threat management encompasses external and internal threat sources, helping to identify current and future threats to the client
• Act as escalation point for all threat and vulnerability events
• Support incident response and investigation of security incidents including root cause analysis.

You will have:

• Extensive experience of implementing, monitoring and improving threat and vulnerability management in large scale business environments
• Detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Knowledge of and ability to manage Windows, Network Device, Database, Middleware, and Application vulnerabilities.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS and Azure)
• Good knowledge of On Premise environments
• Understanding of network protocols
• Relevant security certifications
• Ability to work in Swindon, UK and travel to Europe once per month
