Lab Analyst – Pharmaceuticals – 9 month contract - Ireland

Our pharmaceutical partner based in Co. Tipperary develops and supplies the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities. The plant, which has been operating in Tipperary for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA and Japan.

We are recruiting a Lab Analysts to provide support to product quality investigations by executing and documenting raw materials, and drug substance testing.

Lab Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for Raw Material, Intermediate and Drug Substance testing, in accordance with Analytical Standards and/or other approved protocols.
  • Be responsible for ensuring all testing activities comply with cGMP.
  • Assure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
  • Document all testing activities and to input results into computerised lab systems in accordance with department and MMD standards.
  • Identify and aid resolution of analytical issues within the laboratory.
  • Execute specific assignments (e.g. Annual Product reviews, CPV reviews, DI Initiatives, Lab X Champion, Empower/LIMS Superuser and other systems).
About you:
  • Minimum of BSc in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of GMP Lab experience, with knowledge of relevant GMP standards.
  • Good knowledge of analytical testing techniques, and lab safety procedures.
