Maintenance Engineer – Pharmaceuticals – 12 Month Contract – Dublin (Hybrid)

Our client is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations. With continued organisational growth including ongoing investment across the portfolio and capital projects programme at their Irish Manufacturing facility just South of Dublin, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

As the Maintenance Engineer for our client, you will support a number of CAPEX projects across the site. It will be your responsibility to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of process, facilities and utilities assets in a pharmaceutical plant operating to HPRA and FDA standards.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Represent maintenance as SME on all projects.
• Work closely with the maintenance and project teams to ensure a successful handover of the new equipment.
• The new equipment is to be fully integrated into the site maintenance systems, including set up of the new assets in the CMMS, creating the Planned Maintenance (PM) plans, procurement of spares and setting optimal maintenance strategies for equipment.

 About you:

• 3 + years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Experience within the pharmaceutical sector
• Ideally experience with SAP-PM
• Excellent understanding of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Understanding of asset lifecycle management, spare parts management and reliability engineering.
