Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Global Pharmaceutical Company - South Leinster - 11 month contract

With global demand for their life-changing oncology treatment increasing; one of our global pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team to support a €500 million expansion project in Leinster.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a state-of-the art fill-finish facility and the company’s first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide effective technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, installation and modification; perform detailed maintenance, calibrations, PMs and troubleshooting.
• Required to operate and clean the process equipment as necessary.
• Operate, troubleshoot and repair complex systems which may include CIP, Autoclaves, Glassware Washers, production vessels, HVAC, Isolators, compressed gasses, plant steam/condensate, bulk chemical distribution and waste water treatment

Please note: this is a 24/7 shift based role.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid trade certificate
• Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing setting.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining process instrumentation and equipment
• Sterile filling processes
• Report, standards, policy writing skills required
