Mechanical Site Manager – Data Centres – Cardiff
 
Are you looking for your next Mechanical Site Manager job? We have a fantastic opportunity opening in Cardiff, alongside our valued client – a leader in the Data Centre field. You would be part of their project, delivering a comms room and liquid cooling upgrade for a university data centre. Data Centres are currently one of the fastest growing and rapidly developing industries – and our client is right in the centre of it all. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your Site Management career in this exciting market.
 
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience of working on construction or mission critical projects in the UK
  • Data centre experience is essential
  • Experience in liquid cooling or comms room upgrades would be highly beneficial
  • Electrical and Mechanical / Mechanical / HVAC bias background. Majority of works are mechanical
  • Previous experience of working on live operational facilities is essential
  • Overseeing M&E installations and managing the programme
  • Interfacing with different suppliers and vendors
  • Good communication as they will be acting as the sole point of contact on site
  • Providing daily and weekly progress updates
  • Reporting into the Head of projects
  • Contract is 7-8 months but can potentially be extended to different projects around the UK
