Multi-Skilled Engineer, Leading Biologics Manufacturer, Hertfordshire

Do you relish the opportunity to work with a leading UK based Biologics manufacturer?  If yes, then this is the assignment for you!

Our biotech client with manufacturing facilities just outside London is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme.  This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-gen processes to produce drugs that are distributed throughout the Globe. The site is easily reachable by two major airports and has excellent transport links throughout.

The client is currently seeking the expertise of a Multi-Skilled Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Engineer role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Maintain, calibrate, repair, and set-up of production equipment ensuring continual improvement to all relevant guidelines
  • Install, commission and develop complex pharmaceutical equipment
  • Carry out autonomous maintenance activities as required
  • Maintain and use GMP documentation for all aspects of the job
Desirable Experience:
  • Formal qualifications for statutory requirements such as B&P, L*, 17th ED
  • HNC or equivalent formal qualification
  • Working knowledge on the following
    • Clean steam
    • Pure water
    • WFI
    • HEPA Systems
    • B&S equipment
  • Experience working within a pharmaceutical, food process, or FMCG environment including
    • Packaging lines
    • Autocalves
    • Dry Heat Sterilizers
    • Ultra filtration systems
    • Working knowledge on the following
