Network consultant (junior)

Hiring now for a network consultant with a few years of experience to take on a new and exciting contract role with an international IT Service Provider.

You’ll join an international team working from modern offices in Valencia, Spain and you will use your knowledge of cisco switches, routers and general network know-how to support a dedicated customer’s infrastructure. This is an initial 3 month English-speaking contract with long term potential (+2 years) and it will start in December 2019 following an initial skype video interview.

Please be aware that the chosen candidate will be required to travel for induction and training to the end customers premises located in Manilla, Philippines for a period between 1 to 3 months.

As a network consultant you will:

• Provide Network Administration specific to a global network
• Provide operational support and resolve user requests, incidents and technical problems.
• Assist the unit team members to carry out on-going activities and projects
• Prepare documentation where needed
• Possibly provide out of hours “on call” support. 

You will have:

• Solid background in managing Cisco switches and routers and firewalls
• Ability to work in Valencia, Spain (and happy to travel to Philippines for the initial period)
• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewall, Bluecoat/WSS/Symantec web-filtering, F5 Big-IP is helpful (but not essential)
• CCNA or CCNP cisco certification
• Good English language skills (knowledge of French, Spanish, Italian is a bonus)
