Our client, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations, is responsible for developing and manufacturing medicines and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines. They have been responsible for the development of many blockbuster drugs in both the USA and the EU and have a presence in the USA, EU and Asia-Pacific, with continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme.

They are seeking the expertise of a Network Planner/Buyer to join their successful team at a site of theirs in Ireland.

In this role you will be responsible for all of the activities that relate to the creation and maintenance of a production plan in the system that will reflect the supply priorities for assigned brands and resources. You will ensure orders are prioritised by firming orders outside the network boundary. Ideally you will have a production background and have strong market intelligence to understand and interpret trends.

You will have the following experience/qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience of direct production planning
  • Preferred 5 years of related manufacturing material management experience
  • Strong knowledge/experience in MRP, SAP-APO SNP, PPDS
  • Knowledge of cGMP and RFT tools
  • Strong knowledge of production/capacity/distribution planning, shop floor control and inventory control
