Operations Manager

Quanta are looking for an experienced operations manager to join an international Power specialist. You will be responsible for the management of the site operations function.

Lead operational issues and lead by example
As operations support manager, you take a lead role for operational issues relating to plant performance and environmental compliance, liaising with the operations manager when appropriate and sharing best practice with other site operations managers. 

• 2+ year of thermal power plant operations experience.
• Degree/Foundation degree/HND level engineering qualification preferred. HNC as a minimum.
• Current knowledge of UK legislation relating to the operation of power generation/thermal treatment facilities.
• Demonstrates a background of identifying and implementing a methodology of continuous improvement in the workplace and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Experience of a supervisory role within operations teams such as implementing shift patterns, managing shift workers and understanding H&S implication for shift workers such as risk and fatigue.
