Packaging Validation Engineer – Dublin – 6 Month Contract

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new / expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the Country. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work via Quanta on the client’s side for a global Pharmaceutical organisation on one of their existing manufacturing facilities in County Dublin. 

Located within 20 minutes of Dublin airport, the manufacturing site is workable for those wishing to commute to/from Ireland for a contract position. You will be required on site for 5 days per week Monday – Friday working 39 hours.

The Role:
We are looking for a Packaging Validation Engineer, ideally with Serialisation experience, to join this Pharmaceutical company for 6 months. You will play a key role in overseeing the end to end Packaging Validation activities and be responsible for creating and executing all Packaging Validation documents.

Day to day duties will include:

• As the Packaging Validation Engineer you will be responsible for leading the end to end Packaging Validation activities and creating and executing all Packaging Validation documents including risk assessment, protocols and final reports.
• As the Packaging Validation Engineer you will support the development of best and proven validation practices in the validation department and lead and coordinate cross functional teams for Project Validation.
• You will be able to prioritize, manage and execute multiple projects utilizing the Project Management Methodologies and be able to conduct validation training.
• As the Package Validation Engineer you will serve as the Validation representative on project teams to ensure all departments understand and comply with the requirements of cGMPs.

 
Key Requirements include:

• As the Packaging Validation Engineer you will be qualified to degree level in an Engineering or Technical discipline.
• You will have previous experience working as a Packaging Validation Engineer working within either the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industries.
• As the Packaging Validation Engineer you will have gained strong experience supporting and executing validation documents related to various packaging processes and procedures.
