Permit Coordinator - Global Biopharmaceutical Client - USA

Our client is making a significant capital investment for a new biologics facility in the USA and requires a Permit Coordinator to work on the multi-billion-dollar project.


The Role:
This role will act as the permit issuer for works carried out on a new project and act as an interface between project personnel and other areas of the site location.
  • Develop and implement project permitting process.
  • Coordinate daily permit meetings.
  • Act as permit issuer for the project on site.
  • Act as an interface between project personnel and existing site workers.
  • Attending project management meetings.
  • Liaising with system and area owners and 3rd party service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory Safety and Environmental requirements.
 
Requirements:
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience of Permit coordination in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical or process related industry.
  • Previous experience of developing a project permitting process.
  • Coordinating project resources alongside existing site to ensure work is delivered in a safe manner.
  • Knowledge and experience to ensure compliance with all current regulatory and safety environmental requirements.
