PL/SQL Developer

PL/SQL Developer - Remote - Contract

Oracle PL/SQL Developer required for a long term contract position with an international organisation. This role can be worked fully remotely (CET timezone) or onsite in Spain or southern Italy. The selected PL/SQL Developer will be part of medium and large sized projects, using his/her skills to develop solutions for new applications and to better the existing set up.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Gather complex system requirements by meeting with clients and researching existing technology to understand the business requirements and possible solutions for new applications.
• Develop/change data input, files/database structures, data transformation, algorithms, and data output.
• Document code and associated processes.
• Test all changes by using the appropriate test scenarios
• Monitor changes and resolve complex problems

You will have:

• 5+ years of Oracle Database experience including stored procedures design and development.
• Expert knowledge ORACLE PL/SQL (developing ETLs, complex procedures and packages).
• Good knowledge of version control tools and process (i.e. SVN, GIT).
• Ability to reverse-engineer existing solutions, procedures, processes
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Knowledge of JAVA and Spring Framework.
• Familiarity Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS)
• Familiarity with Jira, iReport.
• Good knowledge of Web Technologies, CSS and JavaScript.
