We have an exciting permanent opportunity to be working across several UK energy from waste projects with our client who provides leading technologies and services for the sustainable use of Earth’s natural resources.

 

Our client is looking for a Process/Mechanical Engineer with a degree to fill a position in overall commissioning support and optimisation for our existing plants and the new projects.  The person needs to be willing to travel within the UK and stay on sites for long period up to 6 months/or longer for new projects with the East Midlands.

 

Responsibilities
  • Good people skills and the ability to form and train a team of engineers, ready for operation
  • Proven experience hands on with new start-up of EfW plants  
  • An understanding of the client’s technology or similar experience
  • Firm in DCS control of the plant
  • Firm in fault finding, analysing, setting up a cure plan and execution of it
  • Sometimes working at night may be required
  • He will also be required to work in the office and support design of new projects.
  • Should have his own transport and driving license to be flexible
