Our client, a global Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Procurement Admin to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.
Responsibilities:
The Procurement admin will support the day-to-day activities of the procurement and business support department. The candidate will have responsibilities to process goods receipt, maintain vendor list and vendor contracts. Also, the candidate will be responsible to support administrative tasks for the business support organization. In addition to the foregoing, the Procurement Admin role will have the following responsibilities:
- Review and track purchase orders and contract approvals and ensure timely processing
- Maintain vendor master information and contract information
- Research potential vendors for owner purchases
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm change orders
- Monitor/track Agreements to ensure contract value is not exceeded prior to amendment
- Calendar & Schedule Management
- Purchase order invoice management and filing, and process goods receipt
- Resolve invoice issues with vendor or budget owner
- Prepare agendas and support meeting coordination
- Transcribe notes, filing and scanning documents
- Support the business support organization and work with the team to plan and organize company events, meetings, and activities
- Various Administrative Duties
- A minimum of 1-3 years related experience with office administration and procurement process
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of related experience with Procurement and administrative processes
- Detail-Oriented, Self-Motivated
- Follows instructions of management
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Be able to handle and adapt to fast pace and changing environments
- Strong Customer focus
- Strong Organization & Prioritization skills
- Good oral & written communication
- Trustworthy handling of Confidential Information
- Must be flexible with job assignments
- Comfortable working in a construction type environment Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
- Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
