Are you looking to work for a renewable operator with a 10-year future project pipeline? Our client, an international leading diversified renewable energy operator, with project locations worldwide, develops, builds, and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries.
Currently they are looking for someone to work as a Project Controller, starting as soon as possible on an initial 12 months contract, being based in Sweden.
This role would be working within the Controlling (Finance) function and support all offshore development and construction projects globally in terms of financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting and investment decisions.
Deliverable:
- Supporting any financial modelling for investment decisions, specifically the management of assumption books.
- Liaising with technical project teams to understand the financial inputs required by the investment model.
- Reviewing of project results, comparing actual with forecasts and budget figures
- Liaising with internal / external stakeholders on all project costs related matters as and when required
- Collate plans and forecast figures that are relevant for the projects managed, including KPI’s & cash flow statements
- Coordinate with the project team and all stakeholders on other requests
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as and when required
- Support all process improvements, reduce manual interventions and promote the use of relevant systems
Experience:
- Experience in Excel
- Experience within SAP or similar system
- Previous experience in a management accounting role
Desirable Experience:
- Investment modelling experience
- Energy Industry or Project Development experience
- Experience or knowledge of a renewables development is an advantage
