Project Manager - Data Centre

Project Manager – Data Centre Construction – Norway + other European locations – Contract – Initial 6 Months

If the above sounds good you are in the right place... We will be looking for a Project Manager that will take the lead in overseeing the Data Centre design and build phase of an upcoming data centre in Norway.
 
What Do They Want?
Strong experience in Project Management and engineering across a range of commercial, refurbishments and Data Centre Projects.


What Will You Be Doing?
As the Data Centre Project Manager, you will be...

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders compiling Project Initiation documentation for numerous multi-discipline projects
• Management of Design Consultants and Engineers.
• Compiling and presenting of Business Cases for Board level review
• Responsible for cost planning and Management of Tender Procurement Process and reporting
• On-site Contractor management
• Chairing and project status reporting for contractor project meetings
• Competent in the use of planning tools, considers and develops cross-functional plans, demonstrating influencing skills to achieve solutions to challenging stakeholder situations.
• Approach to risk management spans from project level, up to strategic risk management
• Has in-depth technical knowledge of project management processes, CDM and industry best practices
• What we are looking for?
• Data centre/Mission Critical Project Management experience is essential
• Self-Management. You must be able to plan and manage own work to meet targets and objectives
• Proven experience within a data centre environment
• Electrical or Mechanical Degree
• Project Management Diploma is highly desirable
• Experience in leading teams
• Experience in Data Centre Construction
• Experience in preparation of design reports, minutes for team meetings
• Strong formal presentation experience
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word, Project, AutoCAD and PowerPoint
