Project Manager Equipment - Contract - East Anglia

 A Leading pharmaceutical organization based in the UK requires the support of an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new capital investment project and provide oversight of the subsequent tech transfer for an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) at their facility based in East Anglia.

 Based ideally near excellent transport links and coupled with low accommodation costs, this is an excellent location for a seasoned Project Manager to deliver the equipment installation, commissioning and handover including product introduction (NPI) in line with our clients urgent need to increase manufacturing capacity.

 Key responsibilities: 

• Project Management - To manage the specific project relating to the delivery of the equipment installation, including the implementation of the project plan, and handover.
•  
• The Project Manager will also take an active involvement in the technical transfer of the product from Europe to the customers site.
• Quality/Compliance - To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations / national legal requirements.
• People Management - To operate in a matrix organisation, driving the local team to ensure that the project is delivered.
• Continuous Improvement - To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.
• To work in a safe manner with due regard for the health and safety of self, other work colleagues and the work environment. 
• The Project Manager will also have an on-going role in support of Safety, Health and Environmental considerations through the development and implementation phases of the project.

 
Requirements

• Proven background in Project Management of similar Complex projects.
• Experience dealing with multi-site locations and companies – including previous experience of oversight of multiple vendors and project parties.
• Must have experience of previous similar project management activities.
• Experience of delivering pieces of equipment such as Spray-Dryers will be desirable.
• Experience of working alongside a technical team to ensure a safe and efficient tech transfer of products between sites would be ideal. Multi – product.
• Oversight of Process validation batches working with the validation and site team also desirable.
• Must have experience of working through the project phases to final hand over, engaging with Stakeholders/ User Groups/ Procurement/Suppliers.
• Must have completed full project lifecycle.
• This individual will ideally have worked to deliver similar projects as part of a strategic partnership and work together to meet the end goal on time and within budget.
