QA Team Leader Operations – 12-month contract – London

Brilliant contract opportunity in central London to support a rapidly growing Gene Therapy company with their transition from clinical R&D into commercial manufacturing.

The QA Team Leader Quality Operations is responsible for providing QA support and oversight of the Quality Management System ensuring it is inspection ready and maintained in a state of control in compliance with applicable EU, UK and US GMP regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As the QA Team Leader, you will be responsible for Leading, Managing and Training the QA Quality Operations team and continuously improve the local Quality System.
  • The QA Team Leader will support “Quality on the Shop Floor” culture and facility walk arounds to maintain a high level of Compliance and QA Oversight.
  • You will act as the SME for the Quality Management System and Documentation processes at Regulatory and 3rd Party Audits.
  • The QA Team Leader will be responsible for the oversight, review and management of Risks, Quality Events including incidents, Deviation Investigations, Change Controls and CAPA ensuring the meet timelines.
  • You will be responsible for assuring compliance to EU and FDA GxP, QMS and QA GMP operations and any other applicable regulations/standards.
Key Requirements:
  • As the QA Team Leader, you will be qualified to degree level in a Scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy and you will have gained a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Compliance and Quality Assurance within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • The QA Team Leader will have vast hands-on experience with defining and implementing Quality Management Systems.
  • You will have strong Leadership and Management experience
  • Working knowledge of the principles and guidelines for cGMP as out in UK, EU, US and other relevant regulations.
