QC Lead – Data Centres – 7 Month Contract + Extensions – Brussels, Belgium

Are you an experienced QC Lead looking for your next contract opportunity in Belgium? We have the role for you!

Our client, one of the UK’s leading infrastructure companies, has landed a new data centre fit out project in Brussels, and need your expertise as their newest QC lead. Specialising in the mission critical space across a broad spectrum of projects, this is an incredibly exciting client to work with and with a strong future portfolio in the making, could mean you join them in their pipeline of upcoming works.

Whilst this is an initial 7 month contract role on site, there are guaranteed extensions and excellent, long-term potential.

The Project

The project is a new build data centre for well-known brand in the data centre market. Located in the heart of Belgium, this DC is due to go live in 2023. This facility will house a number of well-known brands in the hyperscale market. The package value is over 10 million Euros and the project will consist of the fit out and testing of electrical equipment such as transformers and switchrooms.

Rotations available, hourly rate + accommodation + flights + transfers offered

QC Lead Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality team, including a team of electrical testers
• Coordinate the site team and resources
• Work with internal staff such as document controllers to ensure all checks are accounted for
• Interface with the end client and main contractor confidently
• Responsible for: ITP checklists, walkdowns, tech submittals, registers, benchmarks

About you:

• Previous mission critical or construction experience
• Data centre or pharma project experience preferred
• A background in MEP or electrical testing (LV, MV, generators)
• EU passport holder or Belgium resident
• Happy to work on a freelance basis for the duration of the contract
