Data Analyst – Contract – Milton Keynes– Pharmaceuticals

Our global Pharmaceutical client based in Milton Keynes is searching for a Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contractual basis.

This exciting and global client helps to transform the lives of millions of both human & animal patients in the UK by providing innovative medicines, vaccines, and services. They invest heavily in the professional development of staff whilst also encouraging a healthy work/life balance.

In this role you will enhance the data and reporting capabilities of the company as they progress through a significant business transformation programme.


Roles and responsibilities as a Data Analyst: 

• Capture, manage and organise data to create bespoke customer reports using in house systems
• Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems
• Interpret data, analyse results -work with the team to prioritise business and information needs
• Work with the team to define new process improvement opportunities

Qualifications, Skills & Experience required as a Data Analyst:

• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and analyse large data sets with attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of statistical packages for analysis (Excel)
• Experience in SAP and Oracle
• Experience regarding data models, data mining and segmentation
• Strong numeracy skills
• Logical application to troubleshooting and problem solving
