Quantity Surveyor – Data Centres – 12 month contract – Sussex, UK / Remote

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
  • Advising on risks and negotiating contract terms.
  • Financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow.
  • Assisting the project managers with material procurement.
  • Contract compliance (including but not limited to managing contract changes, valuations, notices and final accounts).
  • Meeting / liaison with client / subcontract / supply chain.
  • Assisting in the company’s personal development and training strategy.
  • Developing existing reporting procedures.

About you:
  • At least 1-3 years’ experience of working on a mission critical systems is necessary, open to any level of experience
  • Works include – CSA and MEP works
  • Experience of working on similar construction or mission critical projects such as: data centre, renewables, pharma, high tech, food
  • Delivery of projects currently involves a team of senior leads, estimators, design coordinators, site managers and project managers.
  • Hybrid from the Sussex head office and working from home (2-3 days flexibility per week)
  • Reporting into the senior commercial manager
