Regional Director - Data Centres – Permanent – London (Hybrid)

Our client, a global company specialising in the supply of mechanical and electrical engineering services to the data centre industry, have a huge opportunity for a Resident Engineer to develop their career. This is a hybrid working position, available either within our client’s London or Bicester office.

Regional Director Responsibilities:

• Contributes to thought leadership and strategic positioning across the business
• Develop and agrees corporate goals and assists in implementation of same
• Operational leadership and day-to-day management of team
• Take strategic level responsibility for business/project functions
• Monitor project risk and risk mitigation strategy
• Monitor project KPIs and assists in resolution of deviations
• Develop and mentor the team
• Review cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies
• Review and preparation of fee bids
• Prepare engaging and succinct reports for the board and clients or others
• Establish and develop strong and trusted client relationships through high quality project delivery and value for clients
• Drives value and innovation in delivery of projects through technical or industry insights

About you:

• 10+ years in a combination of top tier management or strategy background with relevant leadership, technical and consulting expertise
• Educated to Degree Level
• MSc in engineering discipline, Professional certification MCIBSE or MIEE
• Chartered Engineering status
• Stable career background in Building Services or with a major ACS consultancy
• Proven history of major project delivery in relevant sector
