One of Quanta’s major Renewable Energy Clients is currently looking for Senior Authorised Person, to support one of their major Offshore Wind Farm projects based in the UK.
The role is looking to start in September and run until February, with a potential to extend beyond that.
Responsibilities:
- Alignment with the Health and Safety Team
- To operate the High Voltage & Low Voltage (HV/LV) Network in a safe and controlled manner, including providing safety from the HV/LV Network for working parties
- Operational and safety switching, including coordinating, planning, performing and where appropriate supervision of the inspection and maintenance of the asset
- Daily coordination, communication and planning of HV/LV operations and maintenance activity
- Will cover all HV/LV maintenance work both scheduled and unscheduled as required
- Controlling and switching the HV/LV network
- Writing, approving and following up/controlling switching schedules for the HV/LV network
- Writing, issuing and cancelling Safety Documents as part of the Permit to Work system
- Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements were required
- Fault analyse, rectify, and documentation
- Participate in Site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) meetings and O&M meetings with service providers management
- Operate, give, and extract data, work orders etc. from the operation & maintenance management program
Requirements:
- Essential experience from 1-34kV
- Electrical engineering working experience in a relevant industry, including detailed knowledge and understanding of maintenance programs and planning
- 3+ years of electrical working and maintenance experience as Senior Authorised Person operating under company HV Safety Rules
- Current GWOs + Medical in place including BOSIET
