SCADA SER (Site Engineer Representative)

We currently have an opportunity for a SCADA SER (Site Engineer Representative) for one of our leading renewable energy clients.  We are looking for an individual who can start this 24-month freelance contract role with the possibility to extend further thereafter. The start date for this role is 1^st September 2019 up until approx. 31^st August 2021. Working hours will be approx. 10hrs a day 5 days a week, the Consultant should also expect to travel, this is an onshore role. 
 
Responsibility: 

• To establish and lead a QHSE environment for the SCADA package
• Establish SCADA site presence on site providing an interface between site /yard and SCADA design team
• To produce SCADA SAT schedules in conjunction with SCADA project team members for inclusion into overall site project plan
• To provide input to the site SIT and Commissioning plan and to provide assistance to SIT & HV commissioning team
• Supervise SCADA package SAT activities
• Secure quality of commissioning works and documentation
• Report installation / commissioning progress and take part in installation commissioning meetings

 
Qualifications:

• 5 yrs. of site-based installation / commissioning experience within energy / utilities sector
• Qualified SCADA, EC & I Engineer with experience of HV transmission and distribution
• Valid GWO certificates and offshore experience for Yard / OSP activities
• Construction safety qualification for site/Onshore work
• Degree in electrical engineering or similar
• CSCS or equivalent qualification
• IOSH managing Safely

 
Special Provisions:


The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.

For work offshore the Consultant must have his/her own PPE equipment
