Senior Commercial Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre – Germany

The Opportunity

As Senior Commercial Manager you will be leading commercial and cost management during the entire lifecycle of this hyperscale data centre project, liaising with project managers, architects, procurement, and contractors. As Senior Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-        You’ll be the lead cost advising for the project
-        You’ll will monitor the program and project proactively looking for initiatives that can enhance the cost management
-        You’ll mange materials purchasing ensuring that projects are delivered on budget
-        You’ll regularly visit the sites to monitor the project progress and attend design meetings
-        You’ll produce cost and value reports throughout the duration of the project
-        You’ll work as part of the leadership team for the project

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Commercial Manager that has experience of cost managing large international scale construction project, if you have previously worked on data centre projects this will be of benefit but is by no way means essential. We will consider Senior Commercial Managers from other large critical environments. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your extensive cost management and quantity surveying experience and knowledge.

You will have 10+ years construction commercial management experience and it is an essential requirement that you speak fluent German and English. It is also a requirement that you have previous experience working on large scale constructions project within the region allowing you to demonstrate knowledge of local German regulations.
