Senior Network Administrator - Life Science - Philadelphia - 6-Months Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, install, and support complex network solutions in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Responsible for architecting, configuring, and securing critical cloud and corporate network solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing and building cloud network infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge in routing and switching to include multicast, OSPF, BGP, STP Proficient level and hands-on experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Product family
  • Operational experience in Network Security Devices (Fortinet, Cisco Firepower) Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine or similar NAC products
  • Experience designing and supporting in installing complex networks to include such technologies as MPLS, VPN, 802.11,802.1x
  • Resolve incidents and execute changes according to defined SOPs
  • Assess network performance and capacity management and recommend appropriate actions
  • Projects – LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security design and implementation
  • Support network projects and be a resource to projects requiring network expertise
  • Work with third party providers to deliver network services, i.e. telecom carriers, etc.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve network design and management
  • Establishes key metrics for monitoring and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • In country and international travel
  • Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Knowledgeable in LAN switching and routing (Cisco, Juniper, VMWare NSX, &Versa)

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant Science Field preferred or equivalent in working expertise
  • 5 + years of related experience preferred
  • CISSP optional
  • CCNP or CCDP preferred
  • Travel may be required up to 10% to other US/EU sites
