Senior Project Manager (Expansion/Construction) - Life Sciences - 12 month – West Midlands, UK

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the programme to deliver the expansion project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to agreed scope.
  • Ensure programme planning, reporting and control processes, in line with full programme life cycle for the client.
  • Drive engagement on technical and /or related projects varying size and complexity, including defining the goals, objectives, risks, schedule, road map updates, and resource allocation for projects.
  • Work with the various partners and vendors supporting the build.
  • Lead, manage & motivate diverse teams and other resources that be assigned or seconded to work on a project.
  • Facilitate management decision-making by extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions, identifying risks/impacts and scheduling adjustments.
  • Communicating programme progress to baseline and impacts of changes, risks, and issues.
About you:
  • An Engineering and Project Management qualification.
  • Previous experience managing an Expansion or Build project for a Biopharma client.
  • Strong Construction skills and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of standard project management tools and techniques and the skills required for their effective utilisation.
  • Proficient in use of MS Project and Office Suite 
  • A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively 
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand impact of decisions
  • Drive cross functional delivery and trouble shooting.
  • Excellent management skills across multi-disciplined teams as well as excellent communication skills.
