Senior QA Officer – 12 month Contract – Leiden

 The QA Officer will be responsible to maintain, improve and expand the Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance to relevant GMP rules and regulations. He or she will help to ensure GMP compliance within the organization.

Besides the QMS the other main focus are client projects. Projects are as diverse as cell bank and seed lot establishment, upstream and down-stream processing for viral and protein production and aseptic filling of biological material.

Qualifications needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (Biotechnology or related) or comparable level through experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience within a GMP- CMO environment.
  • Hands on experience in pharmaceutical operations or a laboratory.
  • Sound knowledge of European rules and regulations on GMP.
  • Preferably knowledge of US rules and regulations on cGMP.
  • At least 2 years in depth experience with pharmaceutical quality management systems and compliance projects.
  • Preferably experience with Lean management and 6 Sigma methodology.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
