When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Site Construction Manager. 

This a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the critical investment projects both on-site and remotely. 

Job title
Site Construction Manager

Purpose of the position
Supervising the implementation of various investment projects on-site. In addition, where necessary, providing technical support within investment projects.

Reports
  • Hierarchical to the OS-SE manager.
  • Functionally to the Project Manager / Engineer of the relevant investment projects.
  • Operational to the Project Manager / Engineer of the relevant investment projects.
Main tasks
  • Set up the organization independently for the implementation of investment projects, taking into account applicable regulations.
  • Independently carry out projects of parts of the work preparation for installers' fitters and assist them with the implementation of the relevant work.
  • Supervising and instructing all contractors involved in the implementation of a project.
  • Checking and assessing all work performed by contractors. This if necessary together with the relevant project engineer and / or subject specialist.
  • Organizing (interim) deliveries of work.
  • Checking and monitoring project implementation planning.
  • Checking compliance with all safety regulations that apply.

  • Site Services (SHE, facility management, OS)
  • QA
  • IT
  • External engineering and installation companies.
