Senior Mechanical Engineer- Life Science – Contract – Denmark

Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming Nordic location, this on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of Senior Mechanical Engineer activities on a complex drug manufacturing extension project.

Snr Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and collaborate with our engineering partners in relation to design of Steam boilers / Compressed air / Water treatment systems, ensuring that requirements are satisfactorily reflected in the design and that design deliverables are provided timely.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Building part of the project, relating to Time schedule and milestones for installation of systems
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Process and CQV parts of the project
  • Coordinate and collaborate with site SME’s and end users to obtain necessary buy in.
  • Participate in review of Steam boilers / Compressed air / Water treatment systems design documentation.
  • Understand the Danish working environment requirements for access and operation of facilities, as well as an understanding of space management
  • Practical understanding and application of PED (Pressure Equipment Directive)
About you:
  • 5+ years’ design and installation experience as Cooling system / Utility engineer from large pharma / biotech / Industrial projects
  • Having a great sense of structure and coordination
  • Great positive energy and courage to empower and inspire others
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a large range of stakeholders
  • Having a go-do attitude and ability to navigate in a complex project setting
