Are you an experienced Automation Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a large team of technical automation experts for an industry leading company? Then working for this Engineering company in the Life Sciences organisation is ideal for you!

I’m looking for a strong Automation Software Manager to work for a company who specialises in bespoke automation solutions for the Medical Device sector.

In this role you will lead a team of 40 strong automation software engineers on all project focused work, making sure that client expectations are met. You will plan project deliverables as well as deliver software architecture strategies. As operational management of the department you will need to ensure the team meet, project, department, and wider business goals.

You will have the following experience/qualifications:

• Extensive Automation Software experience (preferably Allen Bradley, HMIs, PLCs etc)
• 8+ years within a similar role/industry
• Managerial experience of large teams
• Project Management Experience (PRINCE2 desirable)
• Agile Software Development Methodologies
• Expert level knowledge in developing large scale automation and IOT software solutions
