Technical Writer – Pharmaceuticals – 9 Month Contract – County Limerick

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Writer to join our global pharmaceutical client on their newest capital expansion project based in the picturesque region of county Limerick, Ireland.

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the country. There could not be a better time to join our client and further your Technical Writing career.

As the Technical Writer for this project, you will be specifically engaged with the engineering function.

Technical Writer Responsibilities:
  • Support the engineering department change management, investigation, document control and general admin activities.
  • Author technical documentation with the support of Project Engineers.
  • Provide support, information, and assistance with the submission of documents
  • Author technical evaluations, test plans and relevant lifecycle documentation.
  • Facilitate reviews of and revises department related life cycle documents, SOP's, plans and policies for each group within the department
About you:
  • 3+ years of related experience working in a cGMP environment (biopharmaceutical desirable)
  • Ability to work on own initiative, without direct supervision from management.
  • Team player with an ability to work well across various departments on site as well as business partners.
  • Excellent written, presentation, communication and investigation skills.
  • Deadline focused individual.
  • Direct experience and in-depth knowledge of biopharmaceutical equipment desirable (Solution Prep, Bioreactor, Centrifuge, Chromatography, UFDF)
