Test Manager

Contract opportunity for a Test Manager with experience of Python and Powershell. This is an initial 5 month role that can extend further. It's mostly remote working but some time at the client location in Swindon might be required if the health situation allows it. The hiring manager will be interviewing in the next 10 days with a view to onboard someone as soon as possible.

As Test Manager you will:

• Align with the other infra domains to add clients etc. to the core test environment
• Support the performance improvement initiatives of the network team
• Automate the remaining test cases (in python)
• Add test cases according to the infra domain testing needs
• Plan failover tests together with system owners
• Plan regression tests together with system owners
• Script regression test packs (script: python)
• Execute regression tests
• Support the integration of the test environment in the standard patching routine
• Develop improvement ideas for the core infra PROD environment out of the findings of the test environment

You will have:

• Relevant experience as a test manager, ideally in large IT environments.
• Scripting knowledge for regression test packs and knowledge of common test tools.
• Familiarity with python & powershell
• Good understanding of core infra areas like AD, Exchange, PKI, SCCM etc.
• Good English conversational and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively from home.
