Transport and Installation Manager – Floating Wind Development - 6-months contract

Calling Transport and Installation Managers! We are looking for a Degree qualified Transport and Installation manager based in the EU to work with one of our large multinational clients on the development of a major offshore floating wind project.

Based in Hamburg, the role is remote working initially with a potential gradual change to office based. We are looking for a T&I Manager to join the project ASAP

To be considered for the role that T&I Manager will be degree qualified and ideally have experience in Offshore Wind/Floating Wind Development

Key Experience:

• A degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience of Design, Construction and Installation of offshore floating wind structures
• A strong communication ability, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with offshore installations planning and cost modelling as well as support with supply chain.

The Role:

• Divided into two primary scopes.
• Develop and analyse offshore transport and installation concepts.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings and chair coordination meetings.
• Liaise and review with installation companies regarding installation process, approach and time-lines to de-risk changes to schedules.
• Drive and develop the logistics concepts for the project from conception to completion.

The second aspect of the role will be to drive the extension of the Transport and Installation of the clients floating learning strategy, this will include regularly updating the documentation and to develop generic concepts to further develop the clients Floating wind strategy

 
Technical Requirements:

• Degree level qualification in Civil, Structural, Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar discipline
• Background in Offshore Wind and Ideally floating wind development
