Validation Engineer – Contract – Budapest, Hungary - Pharmaceutical

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a global Pharmaceutical organisation at one of their manufacturing facilities just outside of Budapest, Hungary. 

Known for its endless thermal springs and UNESCO World Heritage Site area surrounding the central Danube River, it is easy to see why Budapest is cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and Europe’s 7th most idyllic place to live by Forbes, making this an idyllic base for consultants staying away from home to explore at weekends.

The site is located just 40 minutes from Budapest airport and has excellent transport links to the city centre. With living costs being more affordable in comparison to some of its neighbouring countries, working on contract in Hungary could prove to be a more lucrative career move.

The role:

We are looking for an Isolator Validation Engineer to join this Pharmaceutical company for 6 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Validation Engineer role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for primarily the PQ phase of validation on a new Isolator piece of equipment
  • Responsible for finding solutions to any problems that arise during the validation activities
  • Responsible for the testing, operating equipment and systems
  • Ensure respect of GMP, GDP and GEP during validation activities
  • Communicate with Engineering Office and Vendors according to company's requirements and expectations

A successful applicant for the Validation Engineer position would have the following skills/experience:

  • Strong pharmaceutical industry background (around 5 years ideally) in Validation engineering
  • Experience supporting IQ OQ PQ validation for Isolators in Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (aseptic facility ideally)
