Automation Engineer – Life Sciences – 12 Month Contract – Denmark

A global Biopharmaceutical company requires an Automation Engineer who has in the past worked as part of a project matrix organisation to deliver large scale Complex projects.  The role of the Automation Engineer will be to support the Automation/IT PM in the Automation activities and solutions for a large-scale drug substance expansion program based at one of their campuses in Denmark.

Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
  • The overall tasks of the assignment are: Finalise an assessment of the standalone equipment on the project.
  • Part of the assignment is to clarify what equipment we in the project defines as solely standalone equipment, integrated to overall systems and systems interfaced to DeltaV.
  • Clarifying requirements to equipment vendors, make sure we get the right solutions specified. Strategies and solutions shall be cloned from other facilities depending on where we have the corresponding solutions.
  • Plan for project execution Based on the above assessment a plan must be developed for the project.
About you:
  • 5+ years’ experience as automation engineer working with PLC & HMI solutions in large pharma / biotech projects.
  • Experience with Siemens systems and in general communication networks for PLC systems
