Consultation Manager - Leading offshore wind Client – 12 Month Contract 

Quanta are working with a global leader in Renewable Energy to help them identify an Consultation Manager to join them on a long-term contract basis. The role based can be based from home with occasional UK travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage the development and implementation of the formal consultation strategy for an Offshore Wind Farm project ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Planning Act 2008
  • Work with the consents and project team to identify key topics and focus for consultation.
  • Liaise with the Lead EIA consultant and Land Agent to incorporate and align consultation requirements
  • Manage the collation and recording of consultation responses, including any GDPR considerations and requirements.
  • Chair regular internal consultations progress meetings
Qualification

Demonstrable experience of working in a major infrastructure project and management of consultation, including:
  • Liaising with teams across a diverse interdisciplinary landscape
  • Engaging with Local Authorities and other key stakeholders in the development of consultation methods and content
  • Management of online Consultation (spaces), utilising digital and virtual platforms
  • Drafting and production of consultation reports for large projects
Skills:
  • A good understanding of the statutory consultation and DCO process.
  • Experience of large scale infrastructure projects and consultations
