DeltaV Engineer- Life Science – Contract – Dublin

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a DeltaV Engineer to work on an exciting capex project in Ireland on an initial 12-month contract.

DeltaV Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Working as part of an experienced Automation NPI site Project Team.
  • Collaboration with Process SMEs, CQV Leads and Automation Engineers to understand process requirements.
  • The role will require generating all the key technical inputs into functional design specifications from all the key stakeholders.
  • Participating in and sign off for key Functional design aspects as required.
  • Responsible for implementing the ACP’s (Automation Change Pack) to make the required code changes.
  • Support project reviews internally with key stakeholder within Automation & customers as required.
About you:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Chemical Engineering, or related field with substantial experience in this field.
  • Senior Automation Engineer level with 5 + years’ experience in the delivery of Emerson DeltaV solutions spanning the full S88 model.
  • Experience in regulated GMP environment.
  • Ability to liaise with process engineers to define scope and deliver on specifications.
  • Strong Team Player with ability to develop relationships and work closely with several cross functional disciplines, both within and outside of the function and Organisation.
  • Good working knowledge of ISA95 and ISA88, CFR (Code of Federal Regulation) Part 11, EU (European Union) Annex 11. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to formulate thoughts in a clear and concise manner to provide clarity and path forward on any issues.
