A global pharmaceutical organization are currently looking for an experienced Dutch speaking Project coordinator for a long term contract opportunity based in the southern Netherlands.

The Project Coordinator collaborates with multiple project team members, production employees, other CoEs such as Quality Operations, EHS and Finance and global departments such as Global Safety and Procurement to ensure projects are delivered according to the set business objectives. The Project Coordinator provides services for our client's Pharmaceutical Operations in the field of capital and expense projects for equipment, buildings, building-related installations, sites and utilities.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for:
  • Lead an independent project with a complex size of Meur 2.5-10 with> 5 internal and external participants. Capable of simultaneously leading 3 to 4 projects with a duration of more than one year.
  • Act as a liaison for the project sponsor and coordinate the flow of information between the project team and other relevant teams;
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and acting as the first point of contact for the project;
  • Starting up a project with a clearly documented expectation regarding scope, budget, delivery time and compliance.
  • Generating solutions in the form of conceptual designs, studies and project definitions leading to approved project proposals.
  • Assembling project teams in consultation with sponsors and resource managers.
  • Preparing and getting an Investment proposal that meets the client's requirements and standards.
  • Advising on the degree of outsourcing and the involvement of other departments, including Production, EHS, QA, CBRE and Procurement
  • Guiding the elaboration of the design into detailed specifications and / or quotations from suppliers.
  • Commissioning or commissioning the various activities to be performed and / or resources to be purchased
  • Monitoring money, time and quality and managing any changes in the project definition in accordance with the client's requirements and standards.
  • Organizing that spaces and installations are available for the implementation of the project
  • Having the project work carried out within the applicable quality and EHS standards
  • Having the necessary commissioning & qualification activities carried out.
  • Organizing the delivery and purchase of the project result.
  • Administrative completion of the project with As built and maintenance information.
  • Ensuring a good transfer and securing of the project result to the various organizations involved, such as owner, manager and user
Qualifications
  • HBO / Academic training in the field of Mechanical Engineering or other technical direction;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Project Management with regard to CAPEX projects;
  • 5-10 years of experience in leading technical projects.
  • Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge;
  • Knowledge of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Knowledge of GMP and EHS guidelines;
  • Strong conceptual insight;
  • Knowledge of Lean / MPS principles (A3 / RCA / TIER);
  • Information about being able to transfer at different levels;
  • Service / customer-oriented approach and a “go-see” attitude;
  • Good control of financial aspects of investments;
