Foundation Installation Consultant - European Offshore Opportunity - 18 Months

Are you an Installation Engineer with a track record of delivering foundation scopes for offshore wind projects? Are you looking for a new challenge and a long-term contract?

 If so, then read on as Quanta have an exciting opportunity for Foundation Installation consultants to work on a major European offshore wind farm project. Via our client a leading European Engineering house you will be providing services as a Foundation Installation consultant with responsibility for the safe Transportation & Installation of foundations.


Responsibilities

• Asses the method statements and risk assessments.
• Identify issues and risks that could be imposed on the project.
• Respond to technical queries or interface with other packages/Contractors to resolve queries.
• Prepare tender documents for sub-work packages as defined by Package Manager.
• Review tender offers and prepare technical and commercial evaluations.
• Implement a strong health and safety culture across sites.
• Create and implement Client installation management procedures and ensure compliance with marine, lifting, and simultaneous operations.
• Attend meetings and participate in the required discussions.
• Oversee the installation vessel offshore works.
• Liaise with the relevant departments for assurances, compliance and production of company standards, knowledge transfer, line management, etc.

Specific Experience

• Degree qualified in an engineering subject.
• Experience with wind farm projects.
• Knowledge of Offshore Wind Structures Transport and Installation Process.
• Experience in Jacket Foundation Transport & Installation and Grouting is Required.
• Experience in Offshore Heavy Lift Operations and Marine Operations Required
• Good communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation across offshore operations.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Availability to supervise offshore works (Offshore stint duration of 14 to 30 days)
• Knowledge of standards relevant to the project.
• Flexibility to travel between Client and Contractor offices and sites.
