We have received a request from one of our leading renewable clients, they are looking for a Consultant to work as a Lead Site Technician, in the USA. If you are a
Green Card Holder OR US National, then we would like to hear from you. This role is to start from the 1
st March 2020 up until 31
st May 2020 with the possibility to extend further thereafter.
Responsibilities: Train site technicians to a level of working independently according to the client’s way of working
Onshore & offshore work supervising and training

- Train site technicians to a level of working independently according to the client ways of working
Onshore & Offshore Work Supervision and training
Qualifications: Mandatory:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- OGUK Medical certificate incl. Chester Step
- High safety awareness and understanding
- Valid driving license
Background and competences for Lead Site Tech:
- Experience with offshore wind projects (mandatory)
Experience from:
- Onshore or offshore wind farms
- Experience with working as a rigger/banksman/slinger
- Military naval background – mechanical or electrical (preferred)
- Oil and gas
- Offshore power cables or other offshore works
- Some experience with managing smaller storage/small asset management
- Some experience with use of a small asset management software system
- Some experience with sending and receiving tools and PPE, inspection or other experience with PPE handling (defining quarantined areas etc.)
- Knowledge with safety rules on a construction site
- IT skills. Knowledge of how to use Excel, Word, Outlook
Special Provisions:The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone
The Consultant must have his/her own PPE equipment
