We have received a request from one of our leading renewable clients, they are looking for a Consultant to work as a Lead Site Technician, in the USA. If you are a Green Card Holder OR US National, then we would like to hear from you. This role is to start from the 1st March 2020 up until 31st May 2020 with the possibility to extend further thereafter.

Train site technicians to a level of working independently according to the client’s way of working
Onshore & offshore work supervising and training
Lead Site Technician responsibilities:

Mandatory:
The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone
The Consultant must have his/her own PPE equipment

Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- OGUK Medical certificate incl. Chester Step
- High safety awareness and understanding
- Valid driving license
- Experience with offshore wind projects (mandatory)
- Onshore or offshore wind farms
- Experience with working as a rigger/banksman/slinger
- Military naval background – mechanical or electrical (preferred)
- Oil and gas
- Offshore power cables or other offshore works
- Some experience with managing smaller storage/small asset management
- Some experience with use of a small asset management software system
- Some experience with sending and receiving tools and PPE, inspection or other experience with PPE handling (defining quarantined areas etc.)
- Knowledge with safety rules on a construction site
- IT skills. Knowledge of how to use Excel, Word, Outlook
