Our client, a leading renewable energy organisation, are working on a revolutionary new project within the UK offshore wind scene. With an ambition to help fight climate change and lead the UK into a greener future, they are currently working on their inaugural floating wind project, with more in the pipeline.
As such, they are seeking an experienced Project Business Operations Administrator to help support their current works.
Responsibilities
- Undertake administrative tasks in support of corporate requirements.
- Provide PA support for the project management team.
- Maintain records in support of the project teams.
- Ensure the project offices are operating effectively through management of equipment, supplies and suppliers.
- Assist with the receipt and processing of invoices.
- Assist with procurement and contracts, and administration of those contracts.
- Facilitate organisation of meetings and events.
- Collaboration and sharing of best practice, within limits of confidentiality, with other team members from the shareholder partners.
- Website content management.
- Assist with the recruitment of team members, job description development, liaising with agencies and candidates and attending interviews.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage own workload, meet timescales and coordinate external and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent BGW in a professional manner in external facing duties.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office 365.
- Good knowledge and experience of administrative processes and IT systems.
- Experience in managing SharePoint systems.
- Experience in Document Control.
- Ability to create, maintain and develop effective working relationships with clients, as well as with colleagues.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a similar role.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a related role.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
