Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and
Quality (HSEQ) - Responsible for ensuring that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated
into design and that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent
practicable - Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their
control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised - Ensures works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the
contract, and conform with project time, budget and HSEQ requirements - Takes ownership on accountability for the Civil EPC project in the tender and in
the execution phase - Leads all Project Management issues on the Civil Work Scope and manages Civil
Project team with task allocation and delegation of Authority to ensure Project
Objectives in terms of work scope, budget and schedule are met - Represents civil project towards site and line management and engaged subcontractors
- Interfaces with all involved stack holders for the benefit of the Project Success
- University degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Previous experience as Construction Manager Civil or Project Manager EPC or
Subcontractor Civil Company in the heavy / industrial civil business - Experience of Contractual and Commercial Management
- Experienced as a leader in HSEQ management and knowledge of relevant HSEQ
legal and Management System requirements - Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent
- Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG
card or equivalent - Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
