Purchasing Manager - Packaging  - Dublin - Contract

Excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Manager for Packaging Components to join a Global Biotechnology Organsaition in Dublin. 

This role will be working 40 hours per week and will be a mixture of site based and remote working. Therefore you will need to be able to commute to Dublin for this role. 

Ireland is a hub of activity for the Life Sciences sector at present, with global players investing heavily here in new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities. 

We are looking for a Sourcing / Purchasing manager to join a leading Biotech company to help source Packaging Components. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in diverse purchasing areas and will also have the following experience: 

• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead the implementation of Strategic Sourcing projects (any specific experience with packaging components beneficial).
• Procurement and Strategic Sourcing experience in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment and Distribution operation highly desirable.
• Category area experience in Packaging Components, with strong focus and demonstrated success in sourcing these components
• Experience managing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Purchasing data in SAP
• Management of supplier issues and issue resolution with Packaging suppliers? E.g. invoice queries and Quality issues.
• Experience coordinating between Artwork teams and Suppliers to ensure new colour standards are approved for New Product Launches.
• Been involved in stock transfer of clinical materials to site
