Safety Specialist – Contract – 6 months - Cork


One of our global Pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Safety Specialist to join their team close to the picturesque and historical city of Cork. The site is renowned for manufacturing excellence and plays a vital role in the company's large-scale biotech operations worldwide.


 


The site has received over $300 million investment over recent years to meet the demand for the company’s innovative products, and it will continue to evolve.


 


As a Safety specialist you will be responsible for advising on company EHS policy, implementing EHS improvements, and generally ensuring the safe operation of the facility.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Safety Specialist role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Promote a culture of EHS excellence throughout the site
• Direct on EHS requirements and make sure your assigned area is compliant and meets site and industry standards.
• Assess how any site changes/improvements impact EHS
• Take part in walkdowns and reviews to ensure the site fully meets EHS requirements.
• Provide EHS advice on any new processes and equipment

 


As a Safety Specialist you will require:

• At least 5 years’ experience working in EHS, within an operational facility.
