Our client is an international specialist in waste-to-energy solutions, providing its services to local authorities, public service contractors, and waste treatment operators. Its teams design, build and operate turnkey plants for the treatment of household waste and non-hazardous commercial and industrial waste.

They are urgently looking for a Section Manager to support a new build Energy from Waste project in the UK.
The Section Manager will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the tasks and activities of construction staff. 
This includes:

• Ensuring areas of control are working within the site construction program;
• Ensuring that the client's safe working practices are always adopted and site-specific policies and guidelines are strictly adhered to and the timely implementation of the site safety plan, Company Policy and Legislation;
• Ensuring that construction work is in accordance with the Safe Work Method Procedures and continually verified to the correct quality standards, using the Quality Inspection and Test Plans, and is compliant with contract documentation;
• Dealing with any subcontract issues which may need resolving in the areas of programme, quality or safety;
